VATSIM is a fantastic way for anyone to simulate aviation either as a virtual Air Traffic Controller (ATC) and/or virtual Pilot.

But, for those of us without real world experience, knowing exactly what to do when connected, is impossible without training. Even those with real world experience would need some training in using our software as after all, most real world aircraft do not need to be configured to see other traffic, it just happens!

To that end, our ATC Training Department and Pilot Training Department endeavour to make your online experience as rewarding as possible.
