Pilot Ratings are not yet in use within VATSIM, but work is in progress to implement it, together with adequate Pilot training.

However, many of todays Virtual Airlines (VAs) operate with "internal VA Pilot Ratings", like Trainee, First Officer, Captain, Check Pilot, etc.
